Hardcore mode is the same as Zealot Difficulty but you may only restart from saved points instead of the automatic checkpoints and you may only save 3 times during a playthrough. Unlock Hardcore Difficulty mode: Complete the game on any difficulty level to unlock Hardcore mode.
